1,2 The Movies...................

For the past week or so, i've been flipping through some of my old movie magazines. I wanted to create my list of favorite movies, by genre or other classifications. Had some hard time doing it, as I tend to appreciate even the smallest bit of a movie, you know, like that single, sad, heart-breaking line Tim gave Jenny - "All these things you're telling me............means absolutely nothing to me."

But of course, I prevailed, and after lots of listing, relisting and re-relisting (I hope it's a word), I now have the ultimate list of Top Tens.

Top 10 Animations & favorite line:

1. Toy Story - "Are you shrink-wrapped???!!!" - Woody
2. Finding Nemo - "When I look at you.....I'm home" - Dory
3. Toy Story 2 - "But I don't wanna use my head" - Rex
4. Emperor's New Groove - "No touchy, noooo touchy" - The Emperor
5. The Polar Express - "I believe..........I believe" - The lead boy (forgot his name)
6. Monster's Inc. - "His eyes are all shifty lately" - Mike Wazowski
7. The Incredibles - "Do I have to answer?!" - Mrs. Incredible (forgot her name too!)
8. Shrek - "You know what else have layers? Parfait! Everybody looooves parfait!" - Donkey
9. A bug's life - "I'm flying! I'm flying!" - The caterpillar (did he have a name?)
10. Chicken Run - "Did you just come back from a holiday?" - One of those old hen.

Sport & sweat..............

Started playing badminton with my colleagues again last night. 8pm - 10pm at S&M (the complex, not the fetish).2 hours = 8 matches (doubles of course). I must have lost like 5kg or something.hehehe.....The usual people were not there, so we had the court all to ourselves.

We were supposed to have our usual satay dinner last night b4 badminton, but the shop was closed.Perhaps they decided to close halfway due to horrible haze condition. But still, we wanted to eat satay in a open stall environment....hehe.

I was expecting some pain or ache in my thigh or arm this morning, but surprisingly, i feel fine. Does that mean i am actually fit? Yeah, I'm sure that's exactly what it means. Yup. Absolutely.

I wanna play more often though. Once a week is just not enough. Perhaps if i can get more partners to play with, then i can book a court somewhere and play there twice a week or something.

Hmm.........any takers???

- The L Word - vol.1

Lusty, Lively, Luscious, Laughable, Liberal, Love it!

Started watching re-runs of The L Word last night. Down 3 episodes so far. I like the opening sequence and the song - so much better than its sister series. Even tried watching the pilot episodes with the commentary on, but got too distracted after a while. It's cool to uncover the reasons and intent of a scene or sequence through the director's eyes, but i guess i need a lot more practice. I kept following the visual and tuning out the audio.

I find Alice's chart interesting. I wonder what it would be like, to draw one up with actual live data.

Hmmmmm..................

The B's - Bowling,Baskin Robbins, buddies........

Bowling. My all-time favorite sport (if i can call it one). It's a love-hate thing for me though. Love throwing a curve ball hitting strikes, but hate the inability to be consistent. I was at Ampang Superbowl the other night with my regular bowling buddies and a visiting friend. Played two games, with only one strike. Upsett! Still, i had a good time. How can i not be with that loud cheer from Alex (He went Yeeeeahhhhhhh!!!!! with both hands high up in the air) during that one time i got a strike. Not! So embrassing..... (read: embarrassing).

And then there's ice cream. A whole pint, half peanut butter n chocolate and half rainbow sherbet, only at about RM16+. Ahhh...friends and ice creams. Definitely a routine i'd like keeping.Next time, i'm getting the quart!

Got my new pair of badminton shoes at half price. Am all set for the game every Tuesday, 8 - 10pm starting tomorrow. Am gonna sweat it out and shed some weight!! (yeah, right!!).

Ooops! lunch time's over.

Back to work.

The beginning……………

It’s been a while since I first had my first thought of writing down stuff here. I don’t know, perhaps I’m just not use to writing down my thoughts, feelings, nerves, etc. on paper, not to mention putting it up for viewing. Well, I did document a couple of my study years in ITM in a diary, only to tear it up after I graduated. I had to. There were plenty of crazy stuff in there – mostly mushy things, and sad things. Things I wished I had the courage to do, things I did for the first time…the sort.
I bet it would be extremely funny to read all those pages now.

So maybe this is not a bad idea after all.

Hmmm……what shall I write about?………

I think I’ll start with today. It wasn’t a bad Monday, though I did wake up late. Nothing important happened at work. I spent an hour after work surfing movie websites for some wallpapers and I bump into this movie called The Exorcism of Emily Rose – or something, I can’t remember……… but it looked cool…hopefully it’ll be better than Exorcist the Beginning.

Got a couple of tickets to see Stealth tomorrow at 9pm. Am giving one to my brother since my two neighbors aren’t up for it. Guess not many people are like me…a big movie freak! Personally, I think the movies are just great. I could watch 3 movies back to back on my day off. But of course, nowadays, it’s all about dvds. Which reminds me, Where are all my SATCs??????!!!!!!

You know, all this ‘forgetting things’, maybe my brother was right. Maybe the accident I had 5 years back did damaged my memory bits. Damn. I still can’t remember what really happened that day. All I know is I had an accident and I lost my memory for a day. Well, that and I was repeating everything I said every 2 minutes or so. Funny huh. I guess Jucy was right, maybe I did have a near-death experience in the past. That could be it.

Pun tak sedar gak.
